It’s Here! Welcome to WWACT Women’s Sports Month

Happy July! Today we’re officially kicking off WWACT Women’s Sports Month — a whole month dedicated to helping women move, connect, and feel strong in their own bodies.

Whether you're trying sport for the first time, getting back into it, or just looking for something fun and supportive, this month is all about you. No pressure. No competition. Just a chance to show up, try something new, and celebrate what your body can do.

Each week this month, we’ll introduce a new sport or activity for you to try — totally free and designed with women of all backgrounds and experience levels in mind. Here's what’s coming up:

  • Netball Skills & Mini-Games

  • Badminton

  • Cultural Dance Fusion

  • Social Volleyball

  • And a relaxed, feel-good picnic to celebrate at the end of the month

You’re welcome to sign up for one or all — whatever feels right for you. All sessions are beginner-friendly and open to all wāhine in our community.

And don’t worry — our Pilates and Yoga classes will continue throughout July too, offering the perfect balance of gentle movement and self-care alongside the new sessions.

Let this month be a chance to move your body, try something different, and maybe even surprise yourself. However you join us — just know, showing up is enough.
