The WWAC Trust is on a mission to empower women through wellbeing, connection, and personal growth. As part of our commitment to supporting women in our community, we’re looking for a passionate and qualified Pilates and Yoga Instructor to join us as an independent contractor.
About Us
The WWAC Trust exists to uplift and strengthen women across the Waikato by providing opportunities that support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Our programmes help women connect, learn, and thrive — whether through fitness, mindfulness, or community initiatives.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Pilates and Yoga instructor who can bring energy, compassion, and professionalism to our wellbeing programmes. You’ll have the freedom and flexibility of working as an independent contractor, while contributing meaningfully to our mission.
In this role, you will:
Lead small-group Pilates and/or Yoga sessions for women of all ages and abilities
Promote mindfulness, body awareness, and overall wellbeing
Collaborate with the Trust to design inclusive, accessible classes
Inspire confidence, positivity, and self-care within our community
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be someone who genuinely cares about women’s wellbeing and creating a safe, empowering environment.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A recognised qualification in Yoga and/or Pilates instruction
Experience working with diverse groups (beginners through to experienced participants)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Your own insurance and ability to operate as a contractor
A positive, community-focused attitude
Contract Details
Contract type: Independent Contractor
Location: Waikato region (venue details to be confirmed)
Hours: Flexible — we’re open to discussing session times and frequency
Start date: As soon as possible
