About Us

The WWAC Trust exists to uplift and strengthen women across the Waikato by providing opportunities that support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Our programmes help women connect, learn, and thrive — whether through fitness, mindfulness, or community initiatives.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Pilates and Yoga instructor who can bring energy, compassion, and professionalism to our wellbeing programmes. You’ll have the freedom and flexibility of working as an independent contractor, while contributing meaningfully to our mission.

  • Promote mindfulness, body awareness, and overall wellbeing

  • Collaborate with the Trust to design inclusive, accessible classes

  • Inspire confidence, positivity, and self-care within our community

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who genuinely cares about women’s wellbeing and creating a safe, empowering environment.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A recognised qualification in Yoga and/or Pilates instruction

  • Experience working with diverse groups (beginners through to experienced participants)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Your own insurance and ability to operate as a contractor

  • A positive, community-focused attitude

  • Contract type: Independent Contractor

  • Location: Waikato region (venue details to be confirmed)

  • Hours: Flexible — we’re open to discussing session times and frequency

  • Start date: As soon as possible
